Qi Gong

This form of healing assists and stimulates the natural healing powers of the body. Through the synergistic effect of the breathing technique, I will show you how to remove negative, self destructive thought forms that prohibit recovery from injury and regeneration of healthier cells. Qi Gong can offer a valuable alternative to invasive treatments or can also compliment more conventional remedies.

There are at least two ways which I know to administer these techniques. The first method is active and involves a series of nine movements designed to stimulate the flow of energy through specific meridians that run throughout the body, arms, legs, head, and truck. These movements are a low impact aerobic alternative to more strenous forms of exercise and work best when practiced in the morning before you start your day. I offer instructional couses to introduce these movements into your daily routine. This technique is very similar to Tai Chi and has a rich history in Chinese culture.

The other method I use is receptive and my clients usually lie down while I perform this technique. With the force of my own Qi coursing through my hands, I can activate the meridians in your body to channel Qi and clear blockages to administer healing. These sessions are very similar to Shiatsu. But Shiatsu is Japanese, while the form that I practice originates from China. So they are very similar, but the Shiatsu has a more popular name and they differ slightly according to some details.

Qi Gong has been studied by many health professionals worldwide to measure its healing potential. Check this link for new updates in this ongoing research.
